About Me

A New Steering Wheel

My husband is a frugal person. The two of us are still living in the starter home he purchased before we met nearly twenty years ago. He is driving a truck he bought eighteen years ago. While he still adores his truck, he knows he needs to make some necessary repairs to it in order to keep it running smoothly. For instance, in the near future, he expects to replace the automobile’s motor. He also needs to get the heater in his vehicle fixed. Because the truck is so old, its interior has seen better days. The seats need some new upholstery. And, he is in desperate need of a new steering wheel. I would like to purchase this item for my spouse for the upcoming holidays. On this blog, you will discover the latest trends in steering wheels designed for trucks. Enjoy!

3 Things You Need To Know About Taking Care Of A Car Magnet

by Kim Murphy

If you have invested in a magnet for your car, you are going to want to make sure that you take good care of the car magnet. You want to be able to get as much use as possible out of the car magnet that you invested in.

#1 Remove & Clean Your Magnet Weekly

You need to clean your car magnet on a weekly basis. When you clean the car magnet, you want to remove the car magnet very carefully from your car.

When you remove the car magnet, you want to lift the magnet the magnet up by the sides. Make sure that you don't just pull at the corner of the magnet but lift up all the sides of the magnet. Try to lift the magnet off as smoothly as possible. Do your best to avoid folding or buckling the magnet as you remove it from the car.

Never use a sharp object to pull the magnet off your car. This can damage your car and the magnet at the same time.

#2 Be Gentle with Cleaning

To clean the magnet, use a mild detergent mixed with warm water. Use a soft cloth to clean off the magnet, and rinse the magnet with warm water. Leave the magnet out and allow it to air dry; do not pat or rub the air magnet dry.

After you clean the magnet, you also need to clean the area of the car where the magnet will go. Make sure that you clean the area well and get rid of all dirt and debris. You'll need a clean surface for when you reapply the magnet once it has dried.

#3 Be Careful with Storage

When you don't need the car magnet, make sure that you store it carefully. You want to store the magnet somewhere that is clean and dry. You don't want to store the magnet somewhere where it will get really dusty or moist.

When you store the magnet, you need to make sure to give it some space. Do not put other objects on top of the magnet. This could damage the magnet and wear it down.

If you have multiple car magnets that you are storing together, make sure that you never allow the faces of the magnets to touch each other. This could result in the magnets getting stuck together.

If you just invested in a car magnet, make sure that you remove and clean the magnet on a weekly basis. When you need to store the magnet, keep it safe in a cool and dry place. For more information, contact a company like ARC Marketing.
